More St. Patrick's Day Manis - Part 1

I hope everyone's St. Patty's Day is treating them well! I spent most of the day at my mother's in another town doing her nails for a St. Patty's Day/Birthday Party she had to go to. I will post her nails at the end of this series. currently, I am happily stuffed with corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots and sipping on a Midori Sour (YUM! What? Yes, I know it's not "Irish" but it is green and yummy, besides the Irish Cream comes AFTER the kids are asleep).

Sorry I didn't get a chance to get these all posted earlier today or during the week but better late than never right? So I have several for you and a couple of FAILS in my opinion. I think I will post them as I go rather than doing one huge post with them all.

On to the first, this is one of my St. Patty's frankens, Irish Cream, over Sally Hansen's Mint Sorbet. I used two coats of each.

Then I decided to stamp on top with image plate BM-03 using Konad special polish in dark green.

Hope you enjoyed this one, the next is on the way! Much Love, The Dragon Lady

Another St. Patty's Day Mani

I liked the pink and green St. Patty's stamping mani I did for Pink Wednesday and as I was looking at it, it hit me! Neon! It would look awesome in neon. Now I didn't want to completely copy my previous mani so I opted to paint the Irish flag on my thumb and ring finger and then used to color for that on the other three fingers. Green on pinky, white  on middle, and orange on index. First I painted all my nails with two coats of my base coats franken (does any one else fraknen their nail treatments?), then two coats of Orly Au Champagne.

Here's what I used for the orange on my index finger and in the flags I used one coat of Color Club Wham! Pow! toppped with one coat of Fantasy Makers Creepy Pumpkin then one coat of Seche Vite.
For the green on my pinky and in the flags I used one coat of Cosmetic Arts unnamed neon green (might be the same as Color Club The Lime Starts Here but not sure since I don't own that one). Topped with one coat of Jesse's Girl Firefly (I know it looks white in the bottle but over this green you really only see the green flash of the glitter) and topped again with one coat of Seche Vite. For the white on my middle finger and in the flag I used one coat of Sinful Colors Smoking Hot over the already there 2 coats of Orly Au Champagne. Topped with one coat of Seche Vite.

Obviously before clean-up. LOL!

I then proceeded to stamp over this once dry with Color Club Wham! Pow! and Cosmetic Arts neon green using the plaid design from m60. The rest of the stamps are using Konad special polish in black using RA-116, SH12, and BM-03. I wish that the plaid had come out a bit brighter but I still love this mani. I think I will sport this one for the day and try to post some more tonight.

Hope you enjoyed this one! Much Love, The Dragon Lady

Pink Wednesday - St. Patty's Style

So my goal this week was to get in at least one St. Patrick's Day themed mani from Sunday's Year Challenge post through to St. Patty's Day itself (Saturday). Unfortunately, I just haven't found the time to post them yet.  It is POURING down rain here. The wind is insane. I was running late this morning. So I am kind of playing hooky this morning to get all my St. Patty's Day manicures posted.I figured since it was Pink Wednesday I would do a special pink/green St. Patrick's Day mani for to get these posts started.

For this mani I used 2 coats of Color Club Peppermint Twist (pink) and on the accent nail 2 coats of Color Club Twiggie (minty green). I topped these off with one coat of a quick dry top coat. On a side note, I am not very happy with my current quick dry top coat (it's slow, smears stamps, etc) and will be switching back to Seche Vite here very soon. I then stamped images from RA-116, BM-03, and SH12 with Konad special polish in white, China Glaze Cherish, and my trusty green foily snowman polish.

I felt it still needed something so I added one coat of an unnamed holo & iridescent glitter top coat franken.

I will be posting more St. Patty's Day manicures later today and for the rest of the week...and for those of you reading this here's a sneak peek at my giveaway that I'll be posting on Saturday.

Valentine's Mani - part 5

Second to last Valentine's Day themed mani and so far my favorite! This one is an anti-valentine's mani! For this one I used Orly Au Champagne, Nubar Fire Sparkle (ring finger), Queen of Hearts (a franken - on thumb), and Konad Special Polish in black and red. I also used the following plates: SE18, BM-02, BM-03, BM-11, RA100, OB5, m13.

I will post the mani I am officially wearing for Valentine's Day later this afternoon.

Happy Valentine's Day all! Much Love, The Dragon Lady
