Pink Wednesday - Orly Beach Cruiser with glitter topper

For today's Pink Wednesday post, I've got Orly Beach Cruiser topped with DL Matter of Perspective. I used two coats of Beach cruiser, one coat of M.o.P. and one coat of Seche Vite.

I love the look of black and white glitter over neons! Much love & lacquer, The Dragon Lady

Nail Mail and July's Haul (So far)

So this month when pay day hit, I paid rent, bills, and of course hit the stores to find some new polish for inspiration. I recently got the stuff I ordered online so I figured I'd do a haul post. If you noticed I didn't do a June haul post because we dropped over $400 on a repair for the van on our Fort Bragg trip. Sucked big time. No spending money, not much left for polish buying either. So I kind of made up for it this month. LOL!

So I guess I really only have one question for you...which one would you like to see first? LOL! ;)
I also realized tonight that I have passed 1000 followers recently...yep, you know what that means! Keep an eye out for a giveaway soon and thank you all for reading!!!

Orly Spazmatic

Today's polish is the last one in Orly's Flash Glam FX Collection, Spazmatic. Spazmatic is a lovely bright blue hex glitter with tons of bright blue micro glitter/shimmer in a clear base. This one was hard to photograph. I used one coat over a black creme and one coat of Gelous. I think I should have used one coat of Seche Vite for shine. This one also a little on the thick side with so much glitter but the application wasn't bad.

Orly Mermaid Tale

Today's polish, Mermaid Tale, is one of my favorites from Orly's Flash Glam FX Collection. I knew when I bought these that Mermaid Tale and Spazmatic (tomorrow's) would be my fav two. I wasn't wrong. I am having trouble deciding which is my absolute fav of the bunch nd I thought it'd be Spazmatic but after this I'm not sure. Anyway, Mermaid Tale is a clear base chock full of green holographic glitter in medium and small sizes. There is also small green glitter. Beautiful! This one had a nice application for being on the thick side (again LOTS of glitter). This is one coat over a black creme topped with one coat of Gelous.

I admit I didn't want to take this one off. Much Love, The Dragon Lady

Orly Can't Be Tamed

Today's polish is from Orly's Flash Glam FX Collection, called Can't Be Tamed. It has medium purple hex glitter and small silver hex glitter in a clear base. I expected it to be one of my favs but sadly due to some application issues it sits at the bottom of the list. The formula (at least my bottle) was pretty thick, I imagine this has a lot to due with the sheer amount of glitter in there. There is A LOT!! Another issue I had with this one was that it was a pain to get the individual glitters to lay flat. I had to poke them down before they dried and it probably needed another coat of Gelous or Seche Vite to smooth it out. This is one coat over a black creme with one coat of Gelous.

Can't Be Tamed isn't as "Blingtastic" as the others have been but I think I'll try thinning this one out a bit and trying out again. Much Love, The Dragon Lady

Orly Sashay My Way

Today's polish is Orly Sashay My Way from their new Flash Glam FX Collection. Sashay My Way is holographic yellow toned gold bar and medium sized hexagon glitter polish in a clear base. Okay, I admit that I was a bit biased going into this one. I really don't do the whole yellow gold thing. I don't even slap it on for Christmas. I'm more of a silver girl. My mom still thinks it's weird because gold matches my redheaded complexion far better. That said, I LOVE this polish. I mean hello bling! Sadly, it was extremely hard to capture all the fire going on in this polish. So take what you see in the pictures and multiply it by 10. Here is Orly Sashay My Way one coat over a black creme topped with one coat of Gelous.  As for application it was pretty easy, did have to place a few glitter but not as much as Be Brave. Glitter stayed down pretty flat too, I hit it with a coat of Gelous anyways.
