I know this post is on a Friday and not a Wednesday but I labeled it with Pink Wednesday because this was what I was wearing on Wednesday. I managed to take photos even though I was too busy with school to get them up.
This was 2 coats of Miss Bliss with one coat of Seche Vite. I wore this from Sunday to Thursday night. I didn't want to take this off but I did (I'll show what I am currently wearing tomorrow).
On Wednesday night I added one coat of Armageddon Barbie (Dragon Lacquer) to change it up a little.

I just wanted to post a quick one to show you what I was wearing. It an unnamed neon pink with a silver shimmer. I wore this just by itself yesterday but last night after my day of errands I decided it "needed" something. Stamps! I just received a few new stamping plates with some Hello Kitty designs (ordered them to do my little ones nails for her b-day). I decide to test them out on myself too. Here's what I did.
I used two HK images and a whole nail polka-dot from the QA12 image plate which I bought off Amazon.com. I think it turned out pretty cute and I'll probably wear this mani until tomorrow. Nothing like a little stamping to extend that manicure one more day! ;)
Here's a little pic of my mini-haul today from my local Sally Beauty aka My Addiction Supporter. It was time to renew my membership and yes, I bought more polish. I'll have to update the Polish Stash list here pretty soon.

I decided to go with a pastel look for today's Pink Wednesday being how it's Spring and all. I Just picked up Wet n Wild Tickled Pink for $0.69 at my local Walgreen's this morning. I used three coats of Tickled Pink over one coat of Barielle Growth Activator. The formula was on the thickish side and left horrible streaks and drag marks, hence the 3 coats. It all took forever to dry even after I topped it with a coat of Seche Vite. It probably also didn't help that the brush was all wonky too.
I decided it was ok but kind of bland so I added one coat of Sinful Colors Glass Pink which gave this mani a lovely glass fleck finish.
Still though it needed something so I added a glitter gradient using some loose, iridescent, light pink, bar glitter. I topped this with two more coats of Seche Vite to help smooth it out. Notice I skipped doing this on my accent nail...I had other plans for that nail.
I realized it has been a while since I stamped skulls on a mani, figured it was overdue. I used plate OB5 and Konad Special Polish in white. Then added one of my newly acquired rhinestone bows in light pink to match. Then topped it with another coat of Seche Vite. I really like the effect of a creme stamp over the glass fleck finish. I think I will have to repeat this with other colors that aren't so close.

I haven't done a Pink Wednesday in a while and I definitely miss them. I thought I'd go for a mellow, pastel, Springy kind of a pink today. I just "happened" to stop into my local Ross this morning after class and scored a cute, pastel pink creme from Cosmetic Arts for $1.99. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm on a No-Buy this month...you're not going to tell on me though, right? Sweet, I knew you had my back! ;)
Anyway, this pink creme is lighter than Color Club Peppermint Twist (I was kind of worried it was a dupe but it's definitely lighter). This is 2 coats over my franken nail treatment that I use as underwear (I am hoping it will help my poor nails still recouping from those gels).
I thought it could use something...yes, I mean glitter. So here's where I sponged on some Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter, a hot pink glitter. I topped it all of with two thin coats of Seche Vite for smoothness and shine. I was going to take my dotting tools and dot over this for my Week 16: Dotticure Mani but decided to wear it the way it is to class tonight and do my Week 16: Dotticure tomorrow after class.
Actually posting this from class, so gotta go. I'll try to post the giveaway tonight after class. Much Love, The Dragon Lady

Today's Pink Wednesday mani is Color Club Electro Candy from the Electro Candy Collection. It is a slightly lighter pink than Poptastic (very slight) but unlike Poptastic, Electro Candy has this sweet blue/green shimmer to it.

I had big stamping plans for this mani but after seeing how pretty the shimmer is I kind of want to enjoy it for a bit. I may stamp over it later but for now I like it as is. Most of you probably noticed that I am testing out this new soak of gel, I'll give you a review on how it holds up later (probably 4/7 if it holds up that long).
I am heading off to study code. I have a midterm in my night class tonight on html5 and css3...wish me luck! ;) Much Love, The Dragon Lady

For today's Pink Wednesday post I used 2 coats of Petites Color Fever Raspberry Ice over my frankened nail treatments (I really need to name it, how about Uber Base, LOL). Raspberry Ice was opaque in 1 coat but that 2nd coat deepened the color a bit more. The formula on this one was awesome. Smooth, even, non-draggy. Loved it!
So Color Club Hot Like Lava was my brightest metallic pink until I bought this. This is way brighter! I think I will be using this one a lot. The next thing I want to do with this is try it with stamping. *Drools*
My middlest daughter, Sweetie Pie, wanted to do a Pink Wednesday mani too. She used Color Club Warhol and Nubar Star Sparkle (accent nail). She painted her own nails, mom just helped clean up a "bit." Sorry for the crappy lighting but I couldn't get her her into the lightbox and take the picture at a decent angle.
